Mr. Ketaki Sankar Adhikaree joined as Deputy Director, Social Welfare and Asstt. Commissioner Disabilities since February, 2000 at newly established Commissionerate (Disabilities) was in charge of the office more than once. Held Mobile Courts in districts. Attended many conferences at Delhi, Bangaluru, Hyderabad and Supreme Court to represent Commissioner and played important role in Consultation on Rights to PWD Bill 2010. In addition to normal day to day administrative function. Working as consultant, National Institute of Orthopaedically Handicapped, GOI, 4 years. Attending many study centers recognized by RCI as visiting Lecturer. Held video conference at IGNOU New Delhi on inclusive Education sponsored by RCI.
Dr. Monidipa Banerjee - G.B Member
Senior Consultant Pediatrician(Neonatology/Neurodevelopmental Disorders)
Senior Pediatrician with international exposure and training in the U.K. Trained in Pediatrics, Neonatology, and Neurodevelopmental disorders. Distinguished author in over twenty publications in international and national peer-reviewed journals, and demonstrated ability in setting up Pediatric, Neonatology, and Neurodevelopmental departments and protocol in a large corporate hospital : exploring challenging senior consultancy assignments with a professionally managed organization.
Mr. Ashim Das - Secretary
Mr. Ashim Kumar Das did Bachelors of Science in Physiology from Calcutta University & obtained post graduate diploma from Calcutta productivity council under Government of West Bengal. Post graduate diploma in marketing management from SISI.Then he joined as welfare officer in Cycle Corporation of India, under Govt. of India in 1980. Then worked as research assistant under national productivity council, Government Of India.
In the year of 2001 ‘Society for Welfare of Children’ was established as his brainchild. He nurtured and fostered the Society from a mere seed to a growing and blooming plant. He has 20 years of experience in non-governmental sector and at present he is the Secretary of this association and looking forward for its optimum growth for the well being of society at large.
Dr. Anjan Bhattacharya - Vice President
Dr. Anjan Bhattacharya has worked in the field of Paediatrics, Neonatology and Developmental Paediatrics both in India and the UK for the last 28 years.
He has been chosen as one of the 27 experts in the world, by the WHO (World Health Organisation) International to provide his expert input in an international consensus meeting at Vancouver, Canada in June, 2013 where for the first time in the world, core standards are being set on ICF (International Classification of Functionality) for children. Vancouver model will now be applied in all Paediatric conditions all over the world and by WHO following this pioneering work. He has now leading the multicentric international research for our WHO regions on this pioneering topic and has successfully completed this, the findings of which were presented in a prestigious international conference in Stockholm, Sweden, patroned by Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Victoria.
He is an Examiner for MRCP, UK examinations for children from the UK, as well as DCH, UK India Examination initiative of RCPCH, UK as a Host Examiner for Royal College. He is a Fellow of this Royal College of the UK. He is also the course coordinator and the affiliate tutor of the DCH/IPPC course for Sydney University, Australia. He acted as an international expert on medicolegal case to Singapore.
He has recently shared a prestigious podium with the President and the immediately-past President of the RCPCH , UK at their Annual Academic Conference at Glasgow, to give a talk on Developmental Paediatrics in 21st Century, Which was highly acclaimed.
As a part of School Health Programme, he regularly used to write statutory reports for the London Schools for children with health and developmental conditions, which were followed statutory by the school and the Local Educational Authorities.

Md. Sahidul Arefin - G.B Member
A Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (MASLP), his interest lies in Research and Development of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. His cap has many feathers including MISHA (Mysore), Fellowship in ASD (New Delhi), Trained in OPT (USA), trained in pre and post laryngectomy rehabilitation (Global Postlaryngectomy Rehabilitation Academy, Netherlands). He has presented papers at several conferences like in Indian Speech and Hearing Association (Calicut & Mangalore), Indian Institute of Health Sciences and Orissa Speech & Hearing Associations, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (Shibpur), University of Calcutta, Jadavpur University etc. He has been attached with Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (S.S.K.M), Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped (AYJNIHH), Pratibandhi Kalyan Kendra, Alps International PVT. Ltd. and many other super specialty and multi specialty hospitals and NGOs of Kolkata.
Archana Sharma - G.B Member
A Counselling Psychologist (RCI-A31352), School Counsellor and Life Skill Trainer. She completed M. Sc in Psychology Specialization in Counselling from West Bengal State University in 2011, PG diploma in rehabilitation psychology from University of Calcutta, Transactional Analysis (TA 101), Basic certificate Course done from International Transactional Analysis Association. She has total work experience of 8years. Certified Dermatology Multiple Intelligence Test (DMIT) counsellor. She has done no. Of 1- 1 (One to one) session for the same. Conducted workshops for Parents and Students for the same. She is a Certified COGMED Coach from Pearson clinical Academy. She also has conducted training for the same. Organized Sensitizing workshops for Parents and Teachers. The main area of interest is in working with Adolescents and Adults. She also worked as soft skill trainer at ADD life caring minds.
