With profound grief and sorrow we inform you of the sad demise of our most respected president late Prof. Dr. Gopal Mitra [ B. Arch(HONS), (I.I.I- KGP) M. Arch (Urban Design) (Univ of Mich. U.S.A) D. Litt., M.C.A., F.I.I.A., F.I.S., F.I.V.] . One of the architects – and the only Indian- of the World Trade Center passed away on 5th Sept, 2015.
All members and staffs of Society for Welfare of Children express heartfelt condolence on his death. We regret the great loss of our Society. We will try to follow his path tofulfill the mission of SFWOC.
