Disability Identification, Screening & Certification camp organized by Society for Welfare of Children was held on 2nd February, 2016 in the premises of Janardan Smriti Mandir at Khardah. More than 120 participants attended the camp and 55 persons were awarded disability certificates. Dr. B.N.Bose Hospital, Khardah thoroughly supported by providing experts and medical team. The medical team comprised of twelve doctors including Dr.BhaskarChakrobarty Chairman cum Superintendent of Dr. B. N. Bose S. D Hospital.
A large no. of Dignitaries/ Social workers visited the camp. Local councillor Mr. Animesh Mukherjee, Vice Chairman of Khardah Municipality, Mr. Sukanta Banik District Social Welfare Officer Mr. Manishankar Mukherjee attended the camp to support our initiative.
Society is thankful to DISTRICT SOCIAL WELFARE & DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH,(North 24 pgs) GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL for the immense support. Very soon Society For Welfare Of Children will organize the Aids & Appliances Distribution Camp to distribute aids & appliances among those 55 certificate holders.
