A seminar on “Role Of Parenting In Child Development” was held on 10th May, 2018 at T.I.M.E Kids School, Newtown. Parents have come along with their children. The programme has started at 10am and it was continued till 12.30 pm. At first one introductory session had given by Secretary of SFWOC. The main programme was started with an interacting session by Dr. Sreelata Ghosh Choudhury (Clinical Psychologist). After that we have a session with Ms. Archana Sharma (Psychologist) on parenting styles, effect of counseling among children. Dr. Sandip Kumar Samanta (Developmental Pediatrician) has given an overview on Role of Parenting in Child Development, it was really presented preciously. He also spoke about some treatments which was very much relevant on child development. And after prolong deliberation our Secretary Sir has given thanks to parents and teachers of the said school.
It was a very special seminar,it helped a lot to understand child in a new way. Some of the parents have said about the seminar that “Very interactive and dealt with most of the common parenting child and development issue”, “Received tips on dealing with kids and their overall development”.
