Completed her P.G. Diploma in Personality & Adjustment, Principles of Guidance and Counselling, Stress Management from Annamalai University and PHD in Effect of Counselling in Placement of the Disabled.( OH ) .  Tests used in thesis include Anxiety, Depression, Hopelessness, Acceptance of Disability, Ego Strength, Locus of Control from Calcutta University. Her field of specialization includes Counselling and Guidance, Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, Clinical Psychology, Special Education, Training of Teachers, Placement of PWD and Community Based Rehabilitation. She has 20 years experience in Counselling. She is one of the panel of experts of National Open School under Ministry of Human Resources. She is working in our Omkar Institute of Advanced Medical Sciences & Disability Research Institute (OPD) as a clinical psychologist since 2016. 

She has done her masters (M.A. (Edu) from Netaji Subhas Open University and PG  Diploma in Teaching Children With multiple Handicaps (DTCMH) from J.U. (1993-94)in collaboration with I.I.C.P. She has completed B.Ed. (SEDE-MR) from Netaji Subhas Open University. She is a Professional with 22 years experience in Special Education, Parent Training and Counseling. She has done her training on i)Autism Spectrum Disorders for Course Coordination, (ii)Strategies for Using Integrated instruction, (iii)Strategies for Facilitating Communication in Children with Mental Retardation or Hearing Impairment.  (iv) Strategies for Developing Instructional Aids.
