As the awareness initiative programmes SFWOC has planned to organize sensitization/awareness programmes for school going children from August, 2016. First school for such workshop was Government Sponsored Taki Boys School. On 8th August, 2016 SFWOC organized the workshop with the parents and teachers of sixth standard students. A similar kind of workshop was organized with the parents and teachers of eight standard school on 8th August, 2016.
Dr. Sreelata Ghosh Choudhury and Dr. Saugata Bandhyopadhya attended the workshops to sensitize the audience on certain common issues. The audience shared the problems they face while dealing with the children. Our experts explained everything briefly and helped the audience to understand from the basic.
The response and feedback prove that SFWOC has taken the right decision by taking up this kind of programme. Children are the future generation that need to be nurtured very carefully. These workshops will be beneficial for the parents and teachers to guide the children with empathy.
