Society For Welfare Of Children & Civilian Welfare Foundation jointly organized a special football match on 5th March at Khardah with the differently able persons. These are the special talents who are not concerned about their physical shortcomings. They are differently able to overcome the difficulties and thus strong enough to empower themselves as sports persons. These words need to be shared, disseminated widely.
UDAAN was initiative to spread words about disability, to make people aware of Paralympics Games. Fourteen differently able players played a football match among themselves which was a treat to watch. The 7 sided football match spell bounded the spectators. No one could believe that those playing at the field were from the disabled sections of our society. Those amazingly talented players played another match against the physically able local club members. The disabled won the match against the able and defeated them by 2 goals.
Manoj Tiwary. Gautam Sarkar, Samaresh Chowdhury was the special guests of honour along with the local councilor, Khardah Municipality authorities present to cheer them up and support our initiative. Society For Welfare Of Children members and Civilian Welfare Society members narrated briefly about the missions and visions of the organizations. The guests promised to support us in future whenever needed in our future projects for the sake of society at large.
