SFWOC took part in the world’s only Paralympics walk. It was organized on 28th August, 2016 by Civilian Welfare Foundation who is working for Paralympics. SFWOC organized a football match jointly with CWF on 5th March, 2016 that featured Paralympics athletes. This time also SFWOC tried to show support for Paralympics by walking with the Paralympics athletes and supporters of Paralympics.
SFWOC is thankful to CWF for inviting us in such an event. ”The unique aspect of the walk is that it is first of its kind initiative in the world where disabled athletes, students and most importantly achievers at large walk to champion the cause of Paralympics sports and Ability above all. The walk creates a visual wonder where the para-athletes participate wearing their medals- a specter that provides inspiration to many.”
